After a turbulent flight from Houston to Los Angelas, we started day zero out strong with lots of good food and a little bit of shopping.

Here is a quick list of the spots we stopped by:

  • Kazunori
  • Acne Studios
  • Nice Kicks LA
  • Acne Studios
  • Soowon Korean BBQ

Photos after the break!

Apparently 7:00am flights and I don’t get along.Relaxing after the flight during the wait for rental car. After picking up our rental car we checked into our Airbnb located right in the heart of downtown, two blocks away from the LA Convention Center where E3 is being held.

Hands down one of the best locations we could have possibly booked.

After dropping off our things we stopped by Kazunori. I was introduced to this spot 3 years ago and it was so good that eating here every trip became a tradition. I highly recommend the “6-Hand Roll” because it comes with a bit of everything. 1. Toro2. Yellowtail3. Salmon4. Baby Scallop 5. Crab6. LobsterNice Kicks LA was also short walk from lunch. Tried on a tee at Acne Studios. Doesn’t quite fit the way I want 😐 A few pics of DTLA.

Yeah.. All we do is eat. I know. Next up is Soowon Galbi in K-Town. Be ready to drool.

Can’t forgot the fit pics.

Dessert at Snowya ice cream Taiyaki!

The plan for Monday night was to attend the Monstercat E3 Exclusive party but I had a food coma so we decided to skip out on it.

Check back tomorrow for the day 1 recap!
